Enquiries about commissioning advocacy

We understand that healthcare providers may wish to ensure that the people they are supporting have access to an independent voice to air their views, choices and opinions. Indeed, this can be an important part of care and can help safeguard against situations where vulnerable people are not listened to and experience inappropriate care as a result.

Regrettably, there are often pressures on charitably and publicly funded services which can lead to delays and waiting lists for the allocation of an advocate. One way of avoiding this is to contract directly with Asist for the provision of dedicated advocacy support.

You can be assured that Asist is an experienced provider of services in environments including private hospitals and understands how to provide a well supervised service which will work within the care environment while remaining independent of care provision.
