On 17th January our Oliver McGowan Project Co-Ordinator Chrissie supported Liz and Larz, our Experts with Lived Experience, to attend a Midlands Partnership Board meeting on Teams. The meeting was also attended by Oliver's mum Paula McGowan OBE.
During the meeting Paula spoke extremely powerfully about Oliver and the campaign, emphasising the need for health professionals across the country to complete the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training as soon as possible. Liz and Larz were given the opportunity to share their experience of delivering the training so far and, despite their nerves, did a wonderful job. We are very proud of them and of Asist's involvement in this incredible campaign.
